The proposed AFE Zone Stimulation Technique is a new sex therapy technique that differs radically from conventional methods in that it deliberately circumvents the brain and addresses the vagina directly. Stimulation of the AFE Zone, the erogenous centre in the inner half of the anterior wall of the vagina, results in rapid onset of reflex vaginal lubrication and build-up of erotic sensitivity, culminating in orgasms in some cases. Given 10 to 15 minutes of initial exposure to this particular technique in a clinic environment, around two-thirds of women who presented with chronic complaints of dryness and pain or discomfort during intercourse noted a significant positive physiological response. Fifteen percent of women responded instantly with orgasms and concommitant copious vaginal lubrication. This radical technique appears to be a fast and effective method to reduce significantly the time required to manage vasocongestive and orgasmic dysfunctions in women.
