This paper proposes a three-node model for a problem most organizations rarely name: Most enterprise UX failures do not begin at the design stage. They begin upstream, where strategic direction, technical constraints, and human behaviour are shaped by people who do not share a language. The Science of UX is a three-node diagnostic lens: Math - The measurable why. Every number that needs to be true.Physics - The logical how. The system, journey, and structure. The structure nobody sees until someone draws it.Chemistry - The human for whom. The psyche and motivation. The model is grounded in Suh's Axiomatic Design, Norman's Emotional Design, and Fogg's Behavior Model, and evidenced through three enterprise engagements across financial services and payroll technology with methods, sample sizes (n=55, 230+), and instruments disclosed. Dedicated explainer papers for each node - Math, Physics, and Chemistry - detailing the full diagnostic mechanism are available upon request and will be published via TRINOD at trinod.quest. This is the theory. The Trinod is the instrument.
