Ag single-atom modification of MgAl-LDH to enhance the CH 4 product selectivity in CO 2 reduction: a DFT study

Herein, a Ag single-atom loaded MgAl-LDH catalyst is constructed. The introduction of Ag atoms triggers the electronic structure reorganization of hydroxyl oxygen atoms in the layered double hydroxide matrix, leading to enhanced CH 4 selectivity.
