Stabilities of the Copper(II) Complexes with Quadridentate Derivatives of l-Prolinamide and l-Proline Methylamide

The stability constants of the copper(II) complexes with potentially quadridentate derivatives of l-prolinamide and l-proline methylamide (see text) have been determined by potentiometric titrations. The amide-proton dissociations from the complexes have also been estimated. These were then discussed in terms of the ligand structure and the complex geometry.
