In this contribution the following new species of Lauraceae are described: Cinnamomurn Jloccosum from Peru; five species of Licaria, L. exserta from Ecuador and /.. subsessilis from Peru and Ecuador, L. filiformis from Peru, L. sessiliflora from Venezuela, and L. rufotomentosa from French Guiana; two species of Mezilaurus, M. campaucola from Peru, and M. manausensis from Brazil; one species of Nectandra, N. tomentosa from Ecuador and Peru; five species of Ocotea, 0. arenaria and 0. multinervis from Peru, 0. brevipetiolata, ().hirtostyla and 0. scalariformis from Ecuador; and one species of Pleurothyrium, P. arcuatum from Peru.
