Five rotational transitions of 16O12C180 were observed by using a source–modulation microwave spectrometer. The least-squares analysis of the measured transition frequencies gave the rotational constant that is three times more accurate than the most recent infrared value. The dipole moment of the molecule was estimated to be (7.0±1.5)×10−4 from a comparison of its spectral intensity with that of 18O13C34S. (AIP)
