Two studies of yeasaying are reported. Data from 36 college students supported the hypothesis that scores on a yeasaying measure would be positively correlated (.58) with a measure of dogmatism. Data from 133 college students confirmed that yeasaying is moderately correlated with “true” responses to socially undesirable items (−.38) and that social desirability and faking are positively correlated (.53). Yeasaying was also positively correlated with extraversion (.35) and neuroticism (.31).
