The crystal growth rate data in the polyethylene oxide‐diethyl sebacate system have been analysed, applying nucleation theory. It is shown that with reasonable adjustment in equilibrium melting temperature, T m , the results follow both 2‐dimensional and 3‐dimensional mechanism as in the case of bulk polymers. No decision about the mechanism, therefore, could be concluded. However, it is shown that polymer‐diluent systems can also be represented on the same single straight line of bulk polymers if proper values for activation energy, E D , and T m are given to the system.
