Copolymerization of styrene with maleic anhydride and isoprene was mechanochemically initiated by vibratory milling. The influence of time, comonomer ratio and addition of acceptors for radicals on the copolymerization process was investigated. The synthesized copolymers were analyzed and the polymerization mechanism is discussed.
