A relation between NH stretching frequencies and N…O distances is given for 42 N-H…O hydrogen bonds. The NH stretching frequencies vary from 3446 cm−1 to 2290 cm−1 and the N…O distances from 3.26 to 2.63 Å. Criteria for identifying the NH stretching fundamentals are discussed.
