The magnetic resonance spectrum of the ⁴S ground state of atomic nitrogen-14 has been observed using the microwave absorption method. The magnetic-dipole hyperfine interaction constant is A=10.45±0.02 Mc/sec. No evidence was obtained for electric quadrupole interaction.
