Summary Backlund, A. & Pyck, N.: Diervillaceae and Linnaeaceae, two new families of caprifolioids. – Taxon 47: 657‐661. 1998. – ISSN 0040‐0262. Two new families of caprifolioids, Diervillaceae and Linnaeaceae, are proposed. They correspond to the former subfamilies Diervilloideae and Linnaeoideae. A key to their genera and those remaining in Caprifoliaceae is provided.
