The incremental electron heat diffusivity χⁱⁿᶜ is determined in Rijnhuizen Tokamak Project plasmas by measurements of simultaneous heat pulses due to (1) the sawtooth instability and (2) modulated electron cyclotron heating. No systematic difference is observed between the two measured χⁱⁿᶜ values, which are both significantly larger (χⁱⁿᶜ/χₑPB=2-4) than the diffusivity obtained from power balance analysis, χₑPB.
