This article reports on a qualitative case study that investigated how executive women learn corporate culture. This study was inspired by the fact that jew female executives inhabit corporate America and representation of women at the highest levels of American business has remained stagnant. The study indicated that women see organizational culture as male‐centered and use learning as a strategy to negotiate through this sometimes inhospitable environment. The women who participated in the study learned cognitively, experientially, and collaboratively about organizational culture, implications for executive female development and HRD are discussed.
