Power spectra of ocean waves obtained by an analog method are presented. In the analog method, standard laboratory equipment is used and no design or development work is required. A sample power spectrum of an ocean wave pressure record is obtained by the analog method, and this spectrum is compared with a power spectrum obtained by a digital analysis of the same record. The agreement of the spectral shapes and the variances obtained by the two methods is fairly good.
