The anisotropic hyperfine interaction of nitrogen and the ring protons in the lowest triplet state of quinoxaline have been measured in single crystals of perdeuterodurene at temperatures close to 80°K. The spin densities determined from these experiments are ρn = +0.133, ρ2 = +0.088,ρ5 = +0.258 ρ6 = +0.071, ρ9 = −0.060. These results are compared with the experimental results for the quinoxaline negative ion.
