Bifid T waves may flag repolarization delay in LVH/ischemia; extends ECG morphology research but remains hypothesis-generating.
Bifid T waves in younger patients with normal ECGs likely reflect delayed right ventricular repolarization, whereas in older patients with left ventricular hypertrophy and ischemia, they may indicate left ventricular repolarization delay.
