Until her recent return to this country, the author was teaching consultant at Watchdog, an organisation for early intervention with developmentally delayed children in Hong Kong. This is an account of the project she undertook for the M.Ed. (Special Education) degree at Hong Kong University. She is now teaching at John Ball School, Blackheath, London.
