Some electrical properties of thin metallic foil made by various methods are summarised, and the merits of each process considered. The general superiority of the foil produced by rolling is emphasised. Strip of 0.1 micron thickness has been made by rolling out 35 microns diameter wire. A few notes on the manipulation of thin foil conclude the paper.
