Dielectric absorption has been investigated over a temperature range from -34 to 450^∘{}C and a frequency range from 1 to 10⁶ cps for doped CaF₂, BaF₂, and SrF₂ crystals. The activation and association energies for the dipolar complexes have been determined. The activation energy for CaF₂ doped with 0.01-mole% YF₃ was found to be 1.17 eV.
