A technique for X-ray focal spot measurements with the pinhole camera has been developed which is based on the use of fast screen-film combinations and magnifications of 30* or greater. Both the size and the intensity distribution of focal spots are recorded with greater accuracy. The large images of the focal spot can be scanned with a standard densitometer and a strip chart recorder. Fast screen-film combinations allow the use of smaller pinholes, thus improving the resolution of focus detail.
