Acoustic phase conjugate waves were generated at 60 MHz using nonlinear electroacoustic interaction in LiNbO3. The phase conjugate reflectivity was measured as a function of the incident pulse duration. The amplitude reflectivity was of the order of 10−3 for a 1.8×104 V m−1 pump electric field and was proportional to the incident pulse duration, showing agreement with the theory.
