In this series no obstruction was observed in any of the reimplanted ureters. This operation is expeditious, virtually free of complication and useful in any situation necessitating ureteral reimplantation. © 1982 by The American Urological Association Education and Research, Inc.FiguresReferencesRelatedDetailsCited byCallaghan K, Gray E, Caldamone A and Ellsworth P (2008) Factors Involved in Parental Decision Making for Surgical Correction of Vesicoureteral RefluxJournal of Urology, VOL. 180, NO. 2, (701-706), Online publication date: 1-Aug-2008.MINEVICH E, WACKSMAN J, LEWIS A and SHELDON C (2018) INCIDENCE OF CONTRALATERAL VESICOURETERAL REFLUX FOLLOWING UNILATERAL EXTRAVESICAL DETRUSORRHAPHY (URETERONEOCYSTOSTOMY)Journal of Urology, VOL. 159, NO. 6, (2126-2128), Online publication date: 1-Jun-1998.Bisignani G and Decter R (2018) Voiding Cystourethrography After Uncomplicated Ureteral Reimplantation in Children: Is It Necessary?Journal of Urology, VOL. 158, NO. 3, (1229-1231), Online publication date: 1-Sep-1997.Flickinger J, Trusler L and Brock J (2018) Clinical Care Pathway for the Management of Ureteroneocystostomy in the Pediatric Urology PopulationJournal of Urology, VOL. 158, NO. 3, (1221-1225), Online publication date: 1-Sep-1997.Diamond D, Rabinowitz R, Hoenig D and Caldamone A (2018) The Mechanism of New Onset Contralateral Reflux Following Unilateral UreteroneocystostomyJournal of Urology, VOL. 156, NO. 2S, (665-667), Online publication date: 1-Aug-1996.Ellsworth P, Barraza M and Stevens P (2018) Bilateral Ureteral Obstruction Secondary to Retrovesical Hematoma Following Bilateral Ureteral Reimplantation via Cohen TechniqueJournal of Urology, VOL. 154, NO. 4, (1498-1499), Online publication date: 1-Oct-1995.Greenfield S, Griswold J and Wan J (2018) Ureteral Reimplantation in InfantsJournal of Urology, VOL. 150, NO. 5 Part 1, (1460-1462), Online publication date: 1-Nov-1993.Burbige K (2018) Ureteral Reimplantation: A Comparison of Results with the Cross-Trigonal and Politano-Leadbetter Techniques in 120 PatientsJournal of Urology, VOL. 146, NO. 5, (1352-1353), Online publication date: 1-Nov-1991.Whitmore K and Ehrlich R (2018) Vascular Integrity of the Distal Ureter following Combined Tapering and Cross Trigonal ReimplantationJournal of Urology, VOL. 139, NO. 3, (621-624), Online publication date: 1-Mar-1988.Kaplan W, Dalton D and Firlit C (2018) The Endoscopic Correction of Reflux by Polytetrafluoroethylene InjectionJournal of Urology, VOL. 138, NO. 4 Part 2, (953-955), Online publication date: 1-Oct-1987.Ehrlich R (2018) The Ureteral Folding Technique for Megaureter SurgeryJournal of Urology, VOL. 134, NO. 4, (668-670), Online publication date: 1-Oct-1985.Glassberg K, Laungani G, Wasnick R and Waterhouse K (2018) Transverse Ureteral Advancement Technique of Ureteroneocystostomy (Cohen Reimplant) and a Modification for Difficult Cases (Experience with 121 Ureters)Journal of Urology, VOL. 134, NO. 2, (304-307), Online publication date: 1-Aug-1985.Mesrobian H, Kramer S and Keialis P (2018) Reoperative Ureteroneocystostomy: Review of 69 PatientsJournal of Urology, VOL. 133, NO. 3, (388-390), Online publication date: 1-Mar-1985.
