Form factors have been found for nitrogen (with the analytic wave functions of Brown, Bartlett and Dunn) and for mercury (with a Hartree field). For nitrogen, the form factors so found differ appreciably from those computed with a Thomas-Fermi field. For mercury, there is not much difference. The formula for the cross section for impact radiation due to high energy electrons has been revised. There is still a quadratic dependence of kφₖE₀φ on the energy, but the coefficients have been changed, so that this quantity is increased by about ten percent for small values of kE₀.
