The magnetic phase diagram of the Fe50(NixMn1−x)50 alloying sequence was determined by means of Mössbauer spectrometry. Characteristic of the system is the existence of “magnetically heterogeneous” states. The transition from antiferromagnetism to ferromagnetism with increasing nickel content occurs in the concentration range 0.6 < x < 0.75, where the coexistence of antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic ordering exists at low temperatures.
