Quantization of Poincaré Maps

The conventional method of quantization of stroboscopic maps of periodically driven Hamiltonian systems is generalized for Poincaré maps of autonomous Hamiltonian systems containing a classical degree of freedom. As an application we rederive the quantum Kepler map for a 1-dimensional model of a Rydberg atom in a microwave field.
