Helical coordination polymers have been obtained from the self-assembly of silver salts and the bidentate pyridazine (pydz), which include [Ag(pydz)](NO3), [Ag(pydz)](CF3SO3), containing 21 helices of different periods, and the unusual 41 helical species [Ag(pydz)2](BF4).
