We present experimental results of second-harmonic generation from a silver mirror at 1.064-μm pump wavelength. The data are well described in the framework of the theory of the nonlinear polarization at the second-harmonic frequency in metals developed by D. Maystre, M. Nevière, and R. Reinisch [Appl. Phys. A 39, 115 (1986)].
