AN INCREASE in the hatchability of - eggs from Empire White turkey hens due to the addition of vitamin E to the diet was reported by Jensen (1953). The effect of vitamin E upon the reproductive performance of Beltsville Small White hens, maintained on wire floors, was reported by Atkinson et al. (1955 a) and Ferguson et al. (1954).
