In this paper, additional data for the effective dipole moment of chains of conducting particles are presented. A more accurate linear-regression analysis of the data is presented. The theoretical result for a chain of four particles is provided. In addition, an error in the theoretical expression for the moment of a chain of three conducting spheres is corrected.
