Incremental permeabilities for transient analysis of large turbine generators by the finite-element method

Abstract

The results of measurements of the incremental permeabilities on a sample rotor steel from a large turbine-generator are given. The use of the incremental permeability in finite-element solution of small signal, diffusion equation problems is described.
