Analytic expressions are given for the magnetic flux density B and the Gibbs free energy G of a bulk type-II superconductor in an intermediate magnetic field H₀ (Hc1H₀Hc2). Both square and triangular lattices are considered; the triangular lattice is confirmed as the more stable structure.
