Lead titanate (PbTiO 3 ) thin films have been deposited on silicon, platinum-coated silicon and titanium silicide by RF-magnetron sputtering from pressed powder targets. The film structure was investigated by X-ray diffraction and was found to be strongly dependent on substrate temperature. Dielectric properties of the films are reported.
