An Observation concerning the Preferred Perception of the Visual Horizontal and Vertical

It was noticed in a drawing consisting of many equally dark lines that horizontal and vertical lines were preferred perceptually. With head tilt, it was lines on the horizontal and vertical with respect to the head tilt that were now preferred.
