(–)‐reserpiline, (–)‐isoreserpiline, (+)‐yohimbine, (–)‐10‐methoxy‐geissoschizol and (–)‐10‐methoxy‐dihydrocorynantheol (major alkaloids) and (–)‐isoreserpiline‐ψ‐indoxyl, AD‐V (–)‐β‐yohimbine, (+)‐haplocidine, (+)‐desmethylaspidospermine and (–)‐demethoxy‐aspidospermine (minor alkaloids) have been isolated.
