There was a good correlation between the enzyme activity and the percentage of cystic component in the tissue. On immunofluorescent study using antiserum against purified human kidney ACE, human prostatic ACE in tissues from BPH was mainly located in tubular epithelial cells and cystic lumens. © 1982 by The American Urological Association Education and Research, Inc.FiguresReferencesRelatedDetailsCited BySteidle C, Cohen M and Neubauer B (2018) Bradykinin-Induced Contractions of Canine Prostate and Bladder: Effect of Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme InhibitionJournal of Urology, VOL. 144, NO. 2 Part 1, (390-392), Online publication date: 1-Aug-1990.
