Radial distribution functions from computer ‘experiments’ on a classical fluid of particles interacting through an inverse 12th-power potential are tabulated over an extended range of values of the parameter x=(T 1/4 V)-1, which completely defines the thermodynamic state of the system. A comparison of these ‘exact’ results is made with high-temperature data for the Lennard-Jones fluid and with the perturbation theoretical predictions of Andersen, Weeks and Chandler.
