Experimental rate coefficients for electron-impact ionization of Ne vi, Ne vii, and Ne viii

Effective ionization rate coefficients of Ne vi, Ne vii, and Ne viii are derived from the time evolution of these ions in a transient helium plasma produced in a {θ}-pinch discharge. Good agreement is found with theoretical rate coefficients.
