Eilenberger’s equations serve as a basis for numerically calculating the temperature dependence of the density jc of the pair-breaking current at 0 ≤ T ≤ Tc for a whole series of values of the mean free path. It is shown that at temperatures near Tc the jc (T) relation deviates significantly from the (Tc−T)3/2 law derived from the Ginzburg–Landau theory. A comparison with available experimental results is made.
