Isoelectronic sequence extrapolation techniques are used to calculate e-He, e-Ne and e-Ar elastic phase shifts. Results for e-He and e-Ne scattering are comparable in accuracy with the best theoretical calculation available to date. The method is also used to calculate bound-state energies for the 1 S and 3 S series of Be III and B IV.
