Detailed measurement of recombination lines and continua of H+, He+, and He++ at various positions in NGC 7027 show a remarkable agreement with theoretical prediction, contrary to earlier published results. We derive a ratio of total to selective extinction of R = 3.47 + 0.19. New measurements of forbidden4ine intensities indicate temperatures in reasonable agreement with that appropriate for the continuum. The absence of observable optical stellar flux is consistent with recent theoretical model atmospheres of central stars of planetary nebulae.
