These patients had pharyngitis, cervical adenopathy, and nonproductive coughfor less than 1 week. One patient (Patient 1) did develop pulmonary congestion and sputum production. Heterophil antibody was not present, and culture of the pharynx for B-hemolytic streptococci was negative in all patients. T cells were detected by formation of rosettes with...References1.
