We have developed an apparatus to measure directly on samples the current produced by field emission in a 1.5 GHz cavity. After giving details of the experiment design, we review all observations seen during our measurements. First results showed that we have a reliable tool for field emission studies in the radiofrequency regime. Finally, future developments are suggested.
