The use of the semi-empirical mathematical model of amorphous structures described in Part I of the paper is illustrated on the example of an amorphous Fe4Ni4B2 sample. Differences between the characteristic functions of a glass and its melt – as found by several authors – can also be interpreted in terms of the model.
