Expert consultation identifies key interventions against far-right radicalization in adolescents, highlighting resilience training, family support, and a unified national framework.
Drawing on the experience of 33 Czech experts, the article highlights three recommendations that could help the Czech Republic better protect its adolescent population against far-right radicalization: 1) providing them with the necessary resilience skill set (e.g., critical thinking or knowledge of threats present in cyberspace), 2) monitoring of the implementation of the recently introduced program, “Safe Childhood: A Path Toward Preventing Violence in Society,” which could make psychological and family support more available in the country, and 3) developing a coherent national counter-radicalization strategy encompassing primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention to react to this threat adequately.
