The optical oscillator strengths of the resonance lines of Kr were measured by means of the self-absorption. An electron beam through low pressure Kr gas was used as a light source for the resonance lines. The results obtained are 0.155+or-0.011(4p 6 1 S-5s(1 1 / 2 ) degrees , 1235.8 AA) and 0.139+or-0.010(4p 6 1 S-5s'( 1 / 2 ) degrees , 1164.9 AA).
