Phase shifts, for the scattering of electrons from He + (1s), from threshold to 40.8 eV have been calculated in the close coupling approximation. The salient feature of the results is the resonant behaviour of the phase shifts just below the second quantum threshold. The phase shifts are presented in the form of graphs. In addition, differential cross sections are given for Q (1s-2s), while total cross sections are given for Q (1s-3p) close to the excitation threshold.
