As a part of the investigations on the intramolecular hydrogen bonding involving SH group, the intramolecular hydrogen bonding in o-fluorobenzenethiol was verified. The research was further extended to the case of o-fluorophenol and the evidence in favor of the existence of the intramolecular hydrogen bond was obtained.
