Calculation of Ionization Distributions in a Tissue-Equivalent Cloud Chamber Gas Mixture

Experimental interionization distance distributions in a cloud chamber are reproduced using Monte Carlo calculations. Cross sections for all the component gases of the cloud chamber mixture are used. The quality of agreement is generally good. The relationship of the experimental ionization distributions to proximity functions is discussed.
