Blends of polystyrene and poly( p -methylstyrene) (PPMS) were studied by small-angle neutron scattering. Doubling the molecular weight of the PPMS component had no effect on the Flory−Huggins interaction parameter, χ, as determined from the scattering measurements. The temperature dependence of χ is presented also.
